Hello Friend,
Today is the day that I share with you a short list of some of my favorite plants that grow in the prairies of Illinois. Can I tell you a secret? This is the first day in Meanwhile, on the Prairie history that I have felt like not sending out a newsletter. I think it’s just because I don’t have a lot of time to write this morning and it is a gloomy day. This means I am sleepy and it is no fault of my own. There is a winter storm advisory here and I am preparing to trek out into it as I have books to deliver. I have some very good news. All of my books are claimed. I am sold out and just have to focus on getting the rest of the books delivered. I am thinking about recording an audio version of my book to be able to share it with more people. Let me know what you think.
I am looking forward to this romp in the weather. Some of the days in the past week made it seem like winter was calling it an early night. There are little yellow flowers blooming in my front yard, winter aconites. I saw genuine buds forming on some trees yesterday. Not just the little winter buds, these were planning on becoming leaves soon. Seeing this caused me to swear in joy and surprise and hope that the family leaving the Catholic school that I was passing by did not hear me.
